Independence Day celebration was conducted in Pearls Public School. The Chief Guest was Mr. K.Thandeswaran, B.Sc., M.A., M.Ed, (Retired Chief Educational Officer), Secretary of Govindammal Adithanar Women’s College at Tiruchendur. The Correspondent Mr. P.Subbiya, the Well Wisher Mr. Pon Arasan were present in the programme.
The students of Std XII who stood in the first three places at the district level in the higher secondary examination(2012-13) was felicitated by The Correspondent. The prize distribution was as follows…
First Prize – Miss. V.Sai Lakshmi (Rs. 5000/-)
Second Prize – Miss. K. Karthika (Rs. 3000/-)
Third Prize – Miss. R.Bagavathy (Rs. 2000/-)
“Pearls Public School is surrounded by many villages. So the school has been started for the welfare of the students who are from the nearby places. So I wish all the very best to the management and for the upcoming of the school and to bring well-cultured students, who are been educated here.” These words were rendered as message by the chief guest, Mr. K.Thandeswaran. To add colour for the day, the cultural programme was conducted and the programme ended by distributing sweets.
